Brussels, Belgium

Brussels was another quick 1 night stay over before flying to Norway the next day. We were supposed to stay at an Airbnb, but the host didn't respond when we arrived, luckily we were able to find a hotel and drop off our stuff. The main square in Brussels was beautiful and the architecture was incredible.

We went on a short tour at a chocolate museum which included the history of chocolate, some live demos, and taste testing of delicious Belgian chocolate. Thankfully, there was a gift shop so I was able to buy a bunch of chocolate and ship it back stateside from a Belgian post office. Filling out customs declarations forms in a foreign language is not fun, but the packages arrived a week or two after we made it back. I also got to try my first Belgian waffle ever, which was great.

After a chocolate filled several hours, we headed to the airport. We had a quick meal and enjoyed a very talented pianist who sat down at the open piano in the middle of the lounge.
